De in Zuid Afrika zeer populaire rugby speler Butch James neemt momenteel deel aan het Wereldkampioenschap Rugby in Nieuw Zeeland. Butch speelt alweer enige jaren met een Lars Ligament in zijn knie op het hoogste niveau. Butch is het voorbeeld van doorzettingsvermogen. Hij heeft in totaal 5 voorste kruisband reconstructies in zijn carrière achter de rug en elke keer weer haalt Butch zijn oude niveau. Butch mag dan ook gerust een knie wonder genoemd worden.

Een nieuw Lars.

Met ingang van maart 2011 bestaat er een nieuwe structuur binnen Lars SA. Oprichter van Lars Dokter JP Laboureau doet een stap terug als General manager van Lars en doet zijn taken over aan Dhr. Quint.

Dhr. Laboureau zal aanblijven als voorzitter van de raad van bestuur en zijn uitvinding blijven promoten in de operatie kamer. Dhr Quint zal samen met zijn team Lars als merk uitbouwen tot de standaard inzake vervanging van Ligamenten. Met een aantal nieuwe mensen op strategische plaatsen is Lars SA klaar voor de toekomst. Na 17 jaar op de markt te zijn wordt nu de volgende stap gemaakt.

Ware steps swiftly after radical operation.

THE first netballer to undergo the radical and controversial LARS knee surgery makes her return to the court when the NSW Swifts begin their season against the Adelaide Thunderbirds at Sydney Olympic Park today.

Vanessa Ware, an Australian representative in 2008, ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee in a training mishap in June and was forced to watch from the sidelines as the minor premiers stunningly faltered in the finals and were knocked out by Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic. Nick O'Hern makes full recovery after LARS surgery.

Nick O'Hern believes he may be the first professional golfer to undergo the revolutionary LARS surgery to repair his right knee.

Feeling "stronger and fitter" than ever, one of the forgotten men of Australian golf is now aiming to re-establish himself on the US PGA Tour in 2011.

I’m not feeling very “Steve Austin” the bionic man as I write today.  The bravado of coming out of hospital after my LARS ligament ACL replacement has worn off like the morphine every six hours … is it time for more yet???
